Join us Saturday, July 10th at 7:00 p.m. at the downtown Fullerton Plaza for WTLC’s Mardi Gras in July Celebration!

FULLERTON- WTLC in collaboration with the city of Fullerton will be holding its fourth annual Mardi Gras in July Festival & Concert on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the downtown Fullerton Plaza located at 301 N. Pomona Ave, from 7-11 p.m. The event will have a “taste of New Orleans” flavor featuring Cajun and Southern food, genuine Mardi Gras beads, traditional hurricane cocktails, tarot cards readers, entertainment and music by the Bonne Musique Zydeco Band & the Dixidelics.

Admission to the event is $25 and includes food tasting, entertainment and a raffle ticket. The Mardi Gras fundraiser will also feature a silent auction, circus performers and a chance to be the King and Queen of Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras in July is a fundraiser held to benefit survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking who receive comprehensive emergency shelter, transitional housing and advocacy services through WTLC. All of the proceeds from the event will help WTLC continue their exemplary advocacy and emergency shelter programs.

WTLC is non-profit community-based organization of men and women dedicated to seeking solutions to end domestic violence and human trafficking. WTLC primarily serves victims of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, victim advocacy, community outreach, domestic violence training and general family counseling.
