Fullerton Business Becomes Fans of Phans 55

By on August 2, 2010

In celebration of Fullerton’s first ever Restaurant Week, Fullerton Chamber Board Chairman and local business owner Gary Graves has decided to treat his staff to lunch at a different restaurant each day this week!

Today, Gary and three employees from Graves Communications: Gia Ann, Leo Postovoit and Kari Thune, headed over to Phans 55 to sample their Pho lunch special. Phans 55 had 3 different prix-fixe lunch specials to choose from for Restaurant week, ranging from $10 to $20 each, meaning there was something for everyone’s taste and wallet. Phans 55 also had several different dinner selections to choose from as well.

All members of the party had an outstanding lunch break at Phans 55, which had a peaceful, beautiful and well-kept interior, as well as provided quick, friendly and helpful service. Everyone enjoyed their lunch thoroughly, as evidenced by the silence during their lunch break once the food arrived, which was disturbed only by each person’s attempts to express how delicious the food in front of them was.

Gia Ann, a graphic designer at Graves Communications stated “My first experience at Phans 55 was awesome! The first thing that I noticed was the modern decor and furniture. It wasn’t something that I was expecting from a Vietnamese restaurant but I loved it! The Sweet Yam fries are next.. They were delicious on their own but the sauce that came with them was unexpected and wonderful! I’d go back just for these yam fries alone! The vegetable pho was also very satisfying. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I would definitely come back again.”

Leo, also a designer, commented that “The Restaurant Week lunch special was the perfect size and balance of spices. The sweet yam fries with a special dressing and sriracha sauce were tangy and spicy, and the pho was sultry and balanced. Needless to say, I will be coming back!”

Account Associate Kari Thune felt that “Phans 55 really has a lot to offer. Great ambience, friendly staff, and a menu filled with exquisitely crafted and delicious meals. Just the Pho and Yam Fries lunch special alone was out of this world, so I can’t wait to come back and try something new.”

Make sure to check back tomorrow as Graves Communications travels to yet another local restaurant for the first ever Fullerton Restaurant Week!
